By the way, have you, by any chances, experienced you want to give someone something, but hesitate to give it to him/her because you are afraid people might criticize you? I mean, sometimes I could feel that when I give alms to those in need, people would look at me and criticize me because for them, those people should work for their own sake.
People are often unreasonable, illogical, and self-centered;
Forgive them anyway.
If you are kind, People may accuse you
of selfish, ulterior motives;
Be kind anyway.
If you are successful, you will win some
false friends and some true enemies;
Succeed anyway.
If you are honest and frank,
people may cheat you;
Be honest and frank anyway.
What you spend years building, someone
could destroy overnight;
Build anyway.
If you find serenity and happiness,
they may be jealous;
Be happy anyway.
The good you do today,
people will often forget tomorrow;
Do good anyway.
Give the world the best you have,
and it may never be enough;
Give the world the best you've got anyway.
You see, in the final analysis,
it is between you and God;
It was never between you and them anyway.
Yes, do it anyway. Mahilig ksi tayong mga Pilipino sa "bahala na si Batman" term, hehehe.
ReplyDeleteIn doing good, we can apply the "bahala na si batman". Batman will be honored.
Agree....do good and never ask for return.

ReplyDeletewonderful article I have always admire Mother TERESA for who she was and what she did all through her life as a vessel of GOD. if i could do just half of what she did I would be the happiest person in the world.
ReplyDeleteEvery Sunday, I often hear the statement "God loves a cheerful giver." Mother Teresa is an epitome of a cheerful giver. She spent almost her entire life serving others. She's really great!
