This saying,
"Don't be a source of hurt to others", has always been on my mind since I heard this from a priest who made his homily in a TV Mass during Christmas' Eve. He also repeated this phrase during the Easter Sunday Mass. This saying is a simple phrase, yet, has a big impact for me. It always makes me realize that we shouldn't be a source of hurt to others but, instead, love one another and never ever hurt other people's feelings.
And, in connection with this, the phrase also reminded me of another saying from Dalai Lama:
"Our prime purpose in this life is to help others. And if you can't help them, at least don't hurt them."
Hi there! Just saw that you're my newest follower.:) Hope my blog is a help and encouragement to you. Have a wonderful day!
ReplyDeleteRomans 8:28 (NIV) And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
ReplyDeleteIf Our Father works for that which is good, how then can we work against Him? As all of us who love Christ go forth to do the will of the Father; it will be the father’s will to strengthen us. We can be sure of this for this reason.
Ephesians 2:10 (NIV) For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
It is the due course of His business that we come to fulfill that which is good, laid out according to His plan; a will that must be done.
I thank you father for the work of your will and a plan that gives us a place in it. Allow each of us, your children the strength that is found in your peace; in Christ name I pray, AMEN.
In Faith with Blessings,
Matt.
As i beleive......
ReplyDeleteDo Good to others and don't ask for any return,
and Good will always come to us in the most unexpected form and way :-)
