It's a good feeling when you're responsible enough to do your thing, and, that's exactly what I did and I'm very proud of it.
The other day, my friend and I decided to go to Digos City, a one and a half kilometers ride from our city, to pass our applications. So, I got dressed and went to the place where we were supposed to meet. But, it happened that this friend of mine decided to back-out because she just came from a night shift and she couldn't stand up the feeling of sleepiness. Oh, okay, I thought. My Mom would really go wild if she knew about this. So, I decided to go ahead instead.
Unsure where the entrance was, I decided to follow the young lady carrying a travel bag. When I was inside the terminal, I was looking around for the bus going to Digos. Whew, I felt relief when I was already inside the bus. And since I was the first passenger to enter the air conditioned bus, I took the front seat, mirror side to see the view of the landscapes later on.
I got this feeling of excitement because it'd be my first time going to another town all by myself. And the last time I went to Digos was two years ago and I am not familiar with the streets. So, that was really an adventure for me.
When I arrived at the Digos Terminal, I immediately went out from the bus and looked for a tricycle (a 3-wheeled motorcycle with a cabin). Then, I asked the driver to bring me to my destination. Knowing that there might be advantageous people around, I made myself comfortable and appear like I live there.
I really wouldn't forget this experience. And, oh, when I arrived back home, my Mom instantly greeted me and asked me how was it been. So, to keep myself being honest, I told her that I was all alone on the trip. And, alas, you couldn't imagine her reaction when I blurted it out. But, I think, on the other hand, she was also proud for what I did. Lol.
I also got this feeling of excitement because it'd be my first time going to another town all by myself. And the last time I went to Digos was two years ago and I am not familiar with the streets. So, that was really an adventure for me.
